33 weeks pregnant tomorrow! Whoop!
I'm pretty sure he's head down now and hopefully we'll be good to go in just a handful of weeks!
Our regular homeschooling routine is on a break for the Winter Olympics. It's so fun watching them with the girls. And when I say "girls" I mean Addi, because Hannah thinks there couldn't possibly be anything more boring than the Olympics.
Where normally I'd be saying "shhhhh" to Addi's many questions, I find that I'm more willing to take the time, pause the TV, and talk about things. It's my job to educate her, so anytime I have the opportunity I take it. We talk about what all of the numbers mean on the corner of the screen, and what countries go with which flags. We talk about the names of the sports. Both girls have been coloring flags for different countries and we have them hung up in my mom's living room. (She has cable so we watch the Olympics at her house).
Surprisingly, Addi loved watching the luge, and slopestyle snowboarding (as long as it was girls competing). Especially since the girl who won gold was from the USA and to top it off, she was pretty.

And obviously, as a little girl, she loves the figure skating. The first figure skating she saw was of a male skater (Plushenko). When he started skating, she gasped and she said that she had never seen a guy dance so beautifully before. She has a true appreciation of the male figure skater's grace and ability. She said about Plushenko "He doesn't look so good, but he's very good at skating, so that's ok!" Apparently she doesn't think he's the most attractive guy ever. However, it may be the sequenced costume that throws her off.
To mimic the figure skaters both girls jump up and try to turn around as many times as they can. Then they figured they'd get more airtime jumping off the couch. My only goal was no broken bones. So far, so good.
